"Hi. I'm an American in Queenstown right now on a round-the-world trip. I left Christchurch only two days before the quake, and I'd really like to volunteer my help in whatever way possible. I'm a musician, so I have no skills with medicine or machinery, but I'm 24 years old, able bodied, and willing to do anything you might need of me."
The most important thing is that this young man wants to help out.
